pistol pit

Dug into the earth to the earth 8′ with additional 12′ earthen berms, our pistol pit is second to none in the area.  42 yards front to back and 25 yards wide we have 15 lanes ready to be simultaneously used in supreme safety

As of April 1st, 2020, The pit has been dug, shooting stage set as seen to the right and grass sown on the range ground.  Temporary targets are available upon request.

Moving forward we are actively working on building shooters rails & benches for added safety and equipment support.  Semi-permanent targets are also in the works.  Starting this month we will have online an autonomous infrared safety trigger system that notifies all using the range with strobes and siren if anyone has moved past the safety line.  Continue to check with us for updates on this.

300-Yard rifle

Positioned and shooting into a natural 60ft deep ravine, our 300 Yard is roughly 150 ft wide letting in tremendous light and giving ample space for targets and ballistics practice.  This shooter station is over 110′ wide & 16′ deep making plenty of space for you, your friends and ALL of your gear.  You will not be congested as you drive right up to the back of this station.  This station is 24 lanes wide with both semi-permanent shooters benches and semi-permanent elevated prone platforms.

Currently, there are steel gong targets at 100yards, 200 yards, & 300yards.  We also have a VW beetle at 100 yards to shoot at!  In the works is a remote paper target system at 100 yards & 200 yards

Starting this month we will have online an autonomous infrared safety trigger system that notifies all using the range with strobes and siren if anyone has moved past the safety line.

600-yard rifle

We have cleared the trees and most of the dirt.  However, we still have yet to build an elevated shooter station and security barriers before we can have this range go live for members.  We are working as diligently as we can manage to get this going.  This will be Alamance counties officially longest range!  This range will feature similarities to the 300-yard range as its 300, 400, 500, & 600-yard backstops will be dug out berms positioned in a natural ravine.  Its hard to see in this picture, however, the 600-yard berm is the lighter color dirt in the middle of the picture.  Just to the right of the dirt pile at 200 yards.

This shooter station will be enclosed, lockable, and acoustically treated both inside and outside to mitigate and minimize muzzle blast effects and percussive resonance.
